display: inline !important; float: none;">南京某科技有限责任公司医学编辑</span></div> <div class="operate-wrapper"> <div class="delete"> </div> </div> </div> </div> </div> </div> </div> <strong><span class="znz-autocompleter-operate"> <span class="link-operate"> <span class="toggle">   </span> </span> <span class="card-operate active"> <span class="edit">   </span> <span class="content">   </span> </span> </span></strong></div> <p> </p> <p style="color: #3e3e3e;"><strong>“与其迷茫又敏感，不如早点转换目标；与其低效内卷，不如更换赛道......”</strong></p> <p style="color: #3e3e3e;"> </p> <p style="color: #3e3e3e;">8月放弃保研，12月的我已经拿到了<span style="color: #0086d1;"><strong>IC、曼大、爱丁堡</strong></span>的offer，一切恍如大梦一场。选择留学，就是多了一条保底的路，任何时候都为时不晚！</p> <p style="color: #3e3e3e;"> </p> <h1><strong>和保研say bye bye</strong></h1> <p> </p> <p>我刚上大二的时候，发现自己的成绩有保研的可能性，才突然有了保研的想法。<span style="color: #0086d1;"><strong>于是开始着手开始做成绩、科研以及竞赛方面的准备。</strong></span></p> <p> </p> <p>但是总会有一些事与愿违，打的我措手不及。大二大三成绩就像开过山车，心情也随之起起伏伏；大三最后一个学期硬着头皮开始准备各个大学的夏令营材料的过程更是痛苦；而第六个成绩出来后面临的情况更是非常棘手：自己的成绩排名刚好卡在保研名额开外一名。</p> <p> </p> <p>由于不知道排在自己前面的同学竞赛加分情况如何，<span style="color: #0086d1;"><strong>所以保研无非就是两种情况：</strong></span>幸运的作为本专业保研名额内的最后一名留在本校，或者以一名之差与保研say bye bye，不知何去何从。</p> <p> </p> <p>与其等待可能性降临自己头上而惴惴不安，不如自己为自己谋划一条道路。在准备保研期间的长期内耗，<span style="color: #0086d1;"><strong>让我意识到自己需要一个全新的环境来调整心态。</strong></span></p> <p> </p> <p>于是，我开始研究留学的可能性，希望能找到一个更适合自己、更有利于个人发展的路径。我想，留学不仅能提供更广阔的视野，还能让我在国际化的环境中更好地发展自己。</p> <p> </p> <h1><strong>下一站是———</strong></h1> <p> </p> <p>在选择留学目的地时，我投入了大量的时间和精力进行考量，最终将目光锁定在香港和英国这两个地方。</p> <p> </p> <p><span style="color: #0086d1;"><strong>之前参加过英国牛津大学举办的夏令营项目，</strong></span>那段经历让我深刻感受到了英伦文化的魅力，并激起了我对这个国家深深的向往。而且相较于其他热门留学国家，英国的硕士课程申请成功率相对较高，这对于追求稳妥升学途径的我而言是一个非常吸引人的因素。</p> <p> </p> <p><img style="display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;" src="https://info.compassedu.hk/info_imgUrl_phpv6XGEp.jpg" alt="" width="484" height="591" /></p> <p> </p> <p>而香港作为一个国际化大都市，其教育体系早已与国际标准接轨，不仅拥有一流的教学资源，而且在大陆的认可度也极高。考虑到以后就业还是希望在国内发展，香港高校颁发的学位在国内无疑是一块敲门砖。</p> <p> </p> <p>此外，<span style="color: #0086d1;"><strong>香港和英国紧凑的一年制硕士学制能够让我更快地完成学业并进入职场，节省时间和经济成本。</strong></span>考虑到自己较强的适应能力，我也相信自己能够在短时间内融入当地的学习生活环境，充分利用这段时间提升自我。</p> <p> </p> <p><img style="display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;" src="https://info.compassedu.hk/info_imgUrl_phpvrKaaO.jpg" alt="" width="444" height="396" /></p> <p> </p> <p>至于专业选择方面，经过对多位学长学姐经验的深入了解后，我了解到公共卫生这一领域不仅与我的本科背景有着一定的关联性，更是在全球范围内具有广泛的应用前景和社会价值。</p> <p> </p> <p><span style="color: #0086d1;"><strong>随着近年来公共卫生事件频发，该领域的研究和实践变得越来越重要。</strong></span>出于对这一问题的关注和个人兴趣驱使，我亦毅然决然地选择了公共卫生作为自己的主修方向。</p> <p> </p> <h1><strong>事情“一件一件一件”去完成</strong></h1> <p> </p> <p>在本科期间，我有幸参与了多种多样的实践活动，这些经历不仅丰富了我的大学生活，更为我的个人成长和职业发展奠定了坚实的基础。</p> <p> </p> <p>作为团支书以及学生组织副主席的经历，极大地提升了我的领导能力和团队协作精神。特别是大二时，为了提升自己的竞争力竞选组织部副主席，我<span style="color: #0086d1;"><strong>主动承担起了一个以医保为主题的校级暑期社会实践活动的负责人角色。</strong></span>这次活动不仅仅是一次简单的社会实践，它更像是一场对我综合能力的考验与锻炼。<strong>而我带领的团队最终获得了南京市江宁区“双百共建”优秀团队称号。</strong></p> <p> </p> <p>而实习经历也是由于机缘巧合，在一次创新创业课程的汇报中，偶然认识了已经创业成功的直系学长，并在他的公司里作为医学编辑进行三个月左右的实习。</p> <p> </p> <p>这段实习经历让我受益匪浅，还参与了多个项目，<span style="color: #0086d1;"><strong>其中包括与新浪微博等知名企业合作推广健康知识普及活动。</strong></span>这份工作要求我具备扎实的专业知识和良好的沟通技巧，同时也培养了我的耐心和细心态度。</p> <p> </p> <p>科研经历则较为契合计划申请的专业。之前由于保研的计划，所以参与了本校老师开展的一项与药物经济学有关的大创。<strong>通过查阅大量文献资料、收集整理数据，我对药物经济学有了更加深刻的理解。</strong></p> <p> </p> <p><span style="color: #0086d1;"><strong>更重要的是，在帝国理工面试过程中，这段科研经历发挥了意想不到的作用。</strong></span>面试官对我的大创项目表现出浓厚的兴趣，详细询问了许多具体细节。</p> <p> </p> <p>得益于前期充分准备，我能够自信流畅地回答每一个问题，这些经历不仅让我积累了丰富的实践经验，也让我在申请过程中有了更多的素材，增加了我拿到offer的可能性。</p> <p> </p> <h1><strong>超绝钝感地喜提IC录取！</strong></h1> <p> </p> <p>经历了保研对自己心理上的磨练，其实申请季的心情主打平静。拿到雅思成绩后，开始着手进行简历、个人陈述、推荐信的准备工作。</p> <p> </p> <p><span style="color: #0086d1;"><strong>感谢保研时期的自己在那段时间之后终于在某种意义上成为情绪稳定的卡皮巴拉，</strong></span>也感谢自己保研准备的资料在申请留学也有用武之地，资料准备的过程迅速且丝滑。</p> <p> </p> <p>在九月中旬的时候，我就开始着手投递留学申请了。我把目光投向了几所香港的大学，然而，直到现在，这些大学的申请结果还尚未知晓。</p> <p> </p> <p><img style="display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;" src="https://info.compassedu.hk/info_imgUrl_phpaOXFmh.jpg" alt="" width="355" height="214" /></p> <p> </p> <p>就在我满心期待等待香港高校消息的时候，在11月初，我收到了来自曼彻斯特大学的offer。<span style="color: #0086d1;"><strong>当看到曼大offer的那一刻，我心里松了口气：“好耶，终于有学上了！”</strong></span></p> <p> </p> <p>当天晚上，就在我沉浸在游戏的世界里的时候，一封邮件悄然送达。我当时并没有太在意，<span style="color: #0086d1;"><strong>超绝钝感本人一直到打完游戏才慢悠悠地打开邮件详情查看才发现是IC的面试通知。</strong></span></p> <p> </p> <h1><strong>IC面试</strong></h1> <p> </p> <p>收到IC面试通知的时候，我着实愣了一下。就在前几天，我刚刚收到了伦敦大学学院（UCL）的拒绝信，这让我原本对IC也不抱什么希望了，所以这个面试通知真的是完全在意料之外。</p> <p> </p> <p>不过，既然有了面试机会，那就要好好准备。我在指南者上查看了关于IC面试可能会询问的问题，然后结合之前保研夏令营面试准备的材料，针对不同的问题准备答案。</p> <p> </p> <p>在准备面试问题的答案时，我主要遵循STAR法则来进行陈述。<span style="color: #0086d1;"><strong>STAR法则就是Situation（情况）、Task（任务）、Action（行动）、Result（结果），</strong></span>按照这个逻辑来回答问题，可以让我的答案更加有条理和完整性。</p> <p> </p> <p><img style="display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;" src="https://info.compassedu.hk/info_imgUrl_phpOyQapy.jpg" alt="" /></p> <p> </p> <p>而且，我还会事先在心里预演一遍可能会被问到的问题。我觉得在面试的时候不能生硬地去背诵事先准备好的稿子，要是那样的话，很有可能在面试的时候会出现答非所问的尴尬情况。所以，我把重心放在熟悉自己的经历上，<strong>就像自己在做pre一样，想象着面对老师的时候能够脱稿解说自己参与的项目的背景、过程以及结果。</strong></p> <p> </p> <p>面试我的两位老师超级友善。在面试的过程中，有好几个瞬间我都有一种不是在面试而是在聊天的错觉。当天我的发挥自己也比较满意，老师问的问题大多是围绕我的科研项目展开的。当然，也有被问到我没有准备的问题，<span style="color: #0086d1;"><strong>不过我凭借自己的经历，成功地随机应变，</strong></span>顺利地解决了这些问题。面试结束之后，我感觉超级开心，心里有一种预感，觉得面试结果应该会不错。</p> <p> </p> <p><img style="display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;" src="https://info.compassedu.hk/info_imgUrl_phpp728Ez.jpg" alt="" width="440" height="1069" /></p> <p> </p> <p><strong>超绝钝感本人收到IC offer邮件的时候还没有什么真实的感觉。</strong>但是我的爸妈和朋友们知道这个消息之后都特别为我高兴。我真的超级感谢家人和朋友的陪伴和支持。</p> <p> </p> <h1><strong>二次元，怎么考雅思？</strong></h1> <p> </p> <p>由于我是七月中旬开始考虑留学，而九月初就可以申请香港的学校，所以留给我备考的时间其实不多。在一个月的备考时间里，我先是通过询问身边有过备考雅思经历的朋友们相关注意事项，然后结合小红书上各种经验帖子，<span style="color: #0086d1;"><strong>根据自己的情况制定了雅思备考计划。</strong></span>由于自身英语能力还算不错，所以备考过程相对比较轻松。</p> <p> </p> <p>除了正常的听、说、读、写练习以外，我还采用了一些较为“歹毒”的方式来提高自己对于英语的熟练程度。因为比较喜欢打游戏，<span style="color: #0086d1;"><strong>所以把游戏语言以及语音全部设置成了英语；</strong></span>然后多看美剧，长时间看英剧或者美剧真的对提高自己的语音语调有很大的帮助；我睡前有听助眠的习惯，常听的助眠雨声也换成了英文助眠。</p> <p> </p> <p><img style="display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;" src="https://info.compassedu.hk/info_imgUrl_phpJoarSF.jpg" alt="" width="619" height="435" /></p> <p> </p> <p>而准备口语阶段，由于了解到考官对背诵语料库较为反感，所以我自己先把口语问题划分成不同的类型，针对不同类型的问题，<span style="color: #0086d1;"><strong>选择自己的经历或者喜欢的游戏或者动漫剧情来准备不同的故事。</strong></span>这样在有趣的基础上，还能加深自己的记忆，即使考场上忘记了预先想好的句子，脑子里有故事大纲也可以较好的回答考官的口语问题。</p> <p> </p> <p>第一次参加雅思考试取得了7.0的成绩，达到了心仪的香港的几所大学的申请要求，这让我在申请过程中更有底气。<strong>虽然口语和写作没有满足IC和UCL的要求，但我相信通过努力，我能够达到他们的要求。</strong></p> <p> </p> <p>但是在咨询身边雅思和托福都考过的朋友的经验分享和建议，<span style="color: #0086d1;"><strong>我下一阶段打算尝试托福。</strong></span>因为托福不同于雅思，雅思有题库托福没有题库。与其把每一个口语问题事先准备好答案，我更倾向于提升自己的英语综合能力，熟悉托福题型后在考场上随机应变。</p> <p> </p> <p>而且托福对于口语和写作的要求可能没有像雅思那么高，<strong>对我来说可能考托福可能比考雅思有更大几率达成目标。</strong></p> <p> </p> <h1><strong>“循此苦旅，以抵繁星”</strong></h1> <p> </p> <p>“每个人都会有迷路的时候，犹豫不决，不知道该去往哪个方向。但无需害怕，正如人们会感到迷茫，在某个瞬间，他们也会下定决心，做出一个大胆但又了不起的决定……</p> <p> </p> <p>无论那是镇静的、欢欣的、愤怒的、还是悲伤的，<span style="color: #0086d1;"><strong>他们需要的只是一道小小的推力，然后就能迈开步伐，走向属于自己的前方。</strong></span>”</p> <p> </p> <p>相信自己无论选择哪条路，都是正确的道路。</p> <p> </p> <p><em><strong>END</strong></em></p> <p> </p> <div class="qrcode-content-wrapper" contenteditable="false"> <div style="position: absolute;
